What this site is
After Kirk Calendar is an independent editorial and creative project: a proposed calendar whose months and days are named after public figures whose deaths were widely discussed. The site publishes commentary and factual information about those events. It is not a news organisation, a memorial foundation, or a product endorsed by anyone it names.
No affiliation or endorsement
This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any person named on it, their families or estates, or any organisation associated with them, including Turning Point USA, the estates of Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson, UnitedHealth Group, or the Anti-Corruption Foundation. Names are used solely to identify the people being written about. No claim of official status is made or implied.
Images and credits
Photographs are used under public-domain status or Creative Commons licences, with sources and licence terms listed on the credits page. Where a photograph is attributed to a specific author under a licence that requires attribution, that attribution is given there. If you are a rights holder and believe an image or text on this site is used without permission, see the takedown section below.
Takedown requests
Rights holders, or the family or estate of any person named here, may write to hello@afterkirkcalendar.com. Please identify the material, the right you hold in it, and how to reach you. Requests are reviewed promptly and material will be removed or changed where a valid claim is made. Nothing on this site is intended to distress the families of the people it names.
Accuracy
Factual statements about the people named are drawn from the public record. Descriptions are kept short and may omit context. Corrections can be sent to the address above. Opinions expressed, including the calendar's framing of its namesakes, are the author's alone.
No warranty
The calendar is provided as is, for interest and discussion. It is not an official time standard and should not be relied on for scheduling, legal, or contractual purposes. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner accepts no liability for loss arising from use of this site.
